A Postcard From Williamsburg, VA
Our second home is 15 minutes away from historical Williamsburg. We love spending our vacation in this enchanting and historic part of the United States. When we're not exploring new parts of the area, we bring our friends to Busch Gardens for some excitement.

About Williamsburg
Williamsburg is the home of one of the original colonies of the United States. The area is colorful, educational and full of interesting things to do. While one of its largest draws is Colonial Williamsburg, there is much more to Williamsburg. The Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center are two of Williamsburg's most popular attractions. Home to six of the top ten places to golf in Virginia, Williamsburg offers courses for every skill level, from amateur to professional, and is host to several golf tournaments every year. Visitors and residents alike can dine in the same taverns the 'Crown Loyalists' and the 'Revolutionaries' argued and fought in back in the colonial days. Whether you are golfing, or enjoying the history of our country, Williamsburg is an excellent place to relax and soak in country living.
Housing
If quiet, peaceful and historic settings interest you, Williamsburg is the place to purchase that vacation home or golf vacation rental you've been wanting.
Williamsburg offers many different kinds of property like fine homes, waterfront property, large land parcels, and real estate close to downtown Williamsburg, as well as luxury resorts like Kingsmill, Fords Colony, and the Governors Land at Two Rivers. Although famous throughout the world, Williamsburg is still a `small town'. Many homes in Williamsburg are 18th-century structures or have been rebuilt on their original foundations. Antique homes with lodgings furnished with antiques, period reproductions, and 20th-century amenities such as hair dryers, irons, ironing boards, and coffeemakers can be found.
Climate
Williamsburg residents enjoy a temperate climate. Winter is quite mild and short in duration. Spring and fall tend to linger with their own bursts of color. Summer is hot, but a favorite for the many that cherish the surrounding beaches and lakes, including the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Locals appreciate each season and look forward to the next change.
