A Postcard From Frisco, Colorado
As a long time ski fanatic choosing to buy a second home in Frisco has been one of the best things I've done. There is also world-class hiking and mounting biking within a short distance as well.

About Frisco
Found high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains is a distinctive town called Frisco. It is a town of varying identities, both a place of quiet appeal and bustling activity inherent. Surrounded by the Arapahoe National Forest, and bordered by the shores of Lake Dillon, Frisco is the center of Summit County. Its central location of the free Summit Stage transit service makes Frisco a great choice for year-round vacation lodging, dining, and shopping. Frisco locals, proud to share their town with visitors from around the world, are as unique as they are welcoming. Shops, restaurants, and bars along Frisco's two retail corridors - Main Street and Summit Boulevard help display this quality. Whether you're shopping for handcrafted piece of work or a candy bar you'll find it in Frisco. If stylish dining or just calling out for Chinese food is what you crave after a long day on the slopes, Frisco has that too.
Real Estate
Whether walking along the marina to catch the sunset or proceeding headlong into winter sports adventure, Frisco offers vacation magic. There are many options available in Frisco. Two to four bedroom town homes from $237,900 to $538,000. Single-family homes and three bedrooms start at $409,000. Condos start at $98,500, while a studio to three bedroom units overlooking the lake went for $789,000. Recently there has been a noticeable interest in real estate in Frisco. Since interest rates are still quite low, many people are deciding to invest in real estate here and they are finding some good buys in condos, town homes and single-family homes.
Weather
During the winter months, a blanket of shimmering white snow can cover Frisco. Frisco's nearness to the Continental Divide often means that storms can happen overnight, and then reinstate sunshine and blue skies the next day. Winter is only a part of Frisco's story: summer is an important part, as well. Frisco's gentle humidity-free summers offer great reprieve from the constants in life, unique special events and a dose of the great outdoors.
Things To Do
There are endless winter opportunities such as snowmobiling, cross-country and backcountry skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing, etc. For summer activities the Frisco Marina rents sailboats, kayaks, and pontoon boats. There is easy access to biking, walking, or rollerblading on the Lake Dillon bike path, which goes right by the Woodbridge Inn complex.
