Life on Flathead Lake is all about recreation. Our second home is right on the lake and we often enjoy a nice dinner or lunch on the water. During the winter months we can g skiing and snowboarding with our friends.

About Kalispell
The beautiful Flathead Valley in NW Montana is situated near Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. In Glacier National Park, the Swan and Mission Mountain ranges' majestic snowcapped peaks can be seen valley-wide. The area is a friendly place with lots of shopping, art galleries, historic areas, gourmet restaurants, live theatre, beautiful golf courses and festival events throughout the year. Several distinct communities, such as Kalispell, the central commercial pub; Bigfork; Polson and Lakeside create the area and each offers vacation homes, golf resorts and ski vacation rentals. The beautiful lakes & rivers throughout the valley provide vast recreational opportunities.

Weather
The climate is relatively mild year-round. Surrounded and protected by three mountain ranges, The Swan Range on the east, the Whitefish Range on the north, and the Salish Mountains on the west, and by Flathead Lake on the south, the average temperature during the coldest month of the year is in the 20's. In the summer, 85 degrees is considered a hot day.
